I spent our second day break in Italy with a bunch of other people I’m studying with over here in London. We split the trip into three different cities, Rome, Florence and Venice, and I was super excited about the trip since I’ve never been to Italy before! The first day in Rome I walked around the city but I didn’t pay to go into any attractions because I am planning on going back after this semester ends. My friend and I started our day at the Vatican and then walked all the way over to the ancient part of Rome. We got to see the Vatican, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Ministry of Culture & Heritage, Trajan’s Column, Trajan’s market and the Colosseum.
Our second day in Rome I actually traveled outside of the city with a couple girls to the ruins of Pompeii, which was absolutely amazing! We got there later in the day so we only had about three hours to walk around but it was an incredible experience and I fulfilled a childhood dream of going 🙂
